Choose a special scene from your travels to weave into your project.
This wrap is constructed from the center outwards. By using Judy’s Magic Cast-on, the lower border of the panel is held on one needle while the rest of the panel is constructed from the bottom up with stitches added on the right and left side held on the bottom needle. All live panel stitches will be knit in the round with mitered corners until the top and bottom are bound off. Left and right edges are then knit flat.
Yarn:
Note: Gauge is not terribly important; however, this pattern uses all of CC2 and very nearly all MC, CC1, and CC2. When CC2 runs short before finishing its final row, you will can change to MC and finish. Worry not, this only enhances the patchwork-feel. You may want to either have extra MC & CC1 on hand, though, or note where repetitions of Chart C can be changed near the end of each wing.
