Description

This understated Christmas hat brings a reminder of spiced cider, snowmen, and candlelit Christmas Eve celebrations.

Following the ribbed brim, the first decrease row is knit in stockinette with both yarns held together to anchor the eyelash liner. After this row, split the sts onto two separate needles, leaving the eyelash liner sts to hang on the needle while continuing with the outer hat in circular stockinette with decreases after the crown. The inner liner is then knit in circular stockinette to cover both the outer brim and inner hat. The liner tail threads through the top of both layers and secures the pinnacle of the hat to the outer at the first pinnacle decrease row. The remainder of the liner yarn is rolled into a ball and attached to that join along with a bell and sprig of holly, if you wish.

Note: This pattern will use the entire MC skein. Sample had less than 1 yard remaining.
